We offer a variety of services, some being educational while others are social. Such events are led by those who have entered Islam with the aim of building a community supporting those who have encountered challenges since becoming Muslim.

Below is a list of our current services.

If you are interested in any of our services please contact us.

CONVERTsations

Relationship with our parents, how we maintain friendship circles, participation at Christmas, the permissibility of music. Such topics present challenges to those who have entered Islam.

CONVERTsations aims to bring together those who have been Muslim for several years with those who have recently entered the faith all in one space for a round-table discussion to help share experiences and coping mechanisms for when encountering these challenges.

Quran Reading Circle (QRC)

This is a weekly online event which aims to encourage us to dedicate 30 minutes a week to the Holy Quran.

This is not a tajweed course.

Instead it is an event to help build your relationship with the book of Allah. This can be by reading the Quran in Arabic, a translation, a tafsir or simply taking the time to ponder on the words of Allah.

Lives of the Sahabah

Taking excerpts from the book ‘Suwar minal hayat as-sahabah’ (Stories from the Lives of the Sahabah) we look at experiences of both the male and female companions of the Prophet with each session focusing on one companion.

The aim of this event is to inspire and learn lessons, directly or indirectly,  from the stories of those who entered Islam before us.

Socials

We look to organise social events throughout the year gathering in a non-judgemental environment with the aim of strengthening ties of brotherhood and sisterhood in the group.

Examples of our socials include eating at restaurants, trips to mosques, e-iftars and sporting activities.

Depending on the nature of the event and how comfortable participants feel will shape whether events are mixed or segregated
